What started as Erin Henley’s senior project in 2008 has grown into a beloved tradition, connecting students to the heart of our agricultural community. From farm equipment and baby calves 🐮 to bees 🐝, goats 🐐, chickens 🐓, and homemade ice cream 🍦—our kids learned firsthand how agriculture touches every part of our lives.
Huge thanks to our local farmers, FFA & 4H members, Virginia Cooperative Extension, Manakin Soil, and so many others who made this day hands-on, educational, and unforgettable! 💚🌱

The Goochland High School Boys Basketball program will host its annual Bulldog Basketball Camp for boys ages 7-15 (Rising 1st-9th Graders) to enjoy three days of basketball fundamentals! Campers will learn from coaches, players, and guest speakers in the Goochland Boys Basketball program and receive individual skills to work on and participate in team activities that build their knowledge of the game. The BES School Resource Officer, Deputy Donithan, is more than just our School Resource Officer—he is a beloved and essential part of our school community. Kind and approachable, he checks in daily with faculty and staff, always ensuring everyone feels supported. Knowing every student by name, he has built strong relationships and is a familiar, trusted presence in our building. Beyond his role in keeping us safe, he actively participates in school life—mentoring the Lego Robotics team, lending a hand in classrooms, reading to students, and even helping with the Garden Fairies Program. Deputy Donithan invests his time in helping students grow - both in learning and in leadership. Whether he’s called on or simply sees a need, he never hesitates to step in to help. His presence makes our school a better, brighter, and safer place for everyone. Thank you, Deputy Donithan!
